Saga-pentueen nimistä....

Tolkienin haltijat on olleet jo pari sukupolvea edustettuina tämän narttulinjan pentueissa. Kantanartun Lissun toinen pentue oli Elves-pentue, siellä meidän Nuppu eli Boldandbrainy Arwen Undomiel. Nupun pentue sai etuliitteen Arwens ja siellä oli yhtenä Arwens Miriel eli Milli. Millin eka pentue oli myös Miriels-alkuinen, kuten tämä toinenkin ja toivonkin että saan jatkettua tätä linjaa jollakin Millin tyttäristä ;)
Alla vähän nimien merkityksestä :

• Aredhel

 She was  known as Ar-Feiniel which in one translation means "The White Lady (of the   Noldor)", as it is said that she was very pale, and wore only silver and white clothes. The names Aredhel ('noble Elf') and Ar-Feiniel ('noble white lady') were both originally intended to stand alone, replacing the name Isfin.

• Ecthelion

Ecthelion was a Noldorin Elf and one of the greatest warriors of the First Age. He was captain of the guard of Gondolin and he slew Gothmog, the Lord of the Balrogs and Morgoth's chief captain, in the battle for Gondolin.

• Eldalótë

Eldalótë means "Elven-flower" in Quenya. The Sindarin equivalent is Edhellos [ɛˈðɛlʲlɔθ].

• Idril

The name Idril was a Sindarized form of her Quenya name Itarillë (or Itarildë), which means "sparkling brilliance". She had lovely golden hair; she inherited her hair colour from her Vanyarin mother.

• Nerdanel

Nerdanel was of a peaceful nature  and pride with wisdom.

She was a noted sculptor. She is said to have made statues so lifelike that people thought them
 real. Nerdanel  had brown hair and a rosy complexion.
